James Schwartz, DDS

Dr. Schwartz attended college and dental school in Pennsylvania. Following graduation from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, he was an active duty dentist in the US Navy. He was stationed with the Marines at Quantico, Virginia. After his four years of active duty, he and his wife remained in Virginia and he established a private practice in rural Stafford County. Being a dentist in a rural environment, he was able to practice the full spectrum general dentistry to include pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, root canals, orthodontics, and dentures.

Dr. Schwartz’s family connection to Greensboro goes back to 1979, when his family first moved to the area.Dr. Schwartz and his wife have five adult children and currently six grandchildren. Both Dr. and Mrs. Schwartz enjoy living in and restoring historic homes, their Virginia home was built in 1852 and their Greensboro home was built in 1910.Dr. Schwartz enjoys skiing, golf, and hunting. He recently has taken up flyfishing and pickleball.

He is a lifelong member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Guilford County Dental Society. In December 2020, after 51 years of working in family dentistry, Dr. Johnson sold his beloved practice. He truly loved the dental profession and is thankful his legacy is carrying on through Westover Dental Group.

Dr. Johnson and his wife have three children, 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Dr. Johnson is enjoying spending his retirement traveling to the beach with his family and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.

Alice has been practicing dental hygiene with Dr. Walker’s practice since 2001. She enjoys wonderful, long-term, relationships with many of our patients and team members. She and her husband have three grown children, a couple of hilarious grandchildren, and a “unique” dog. Alice loves to read, play word games, cook, and garden.

Rosanna Richardson

Rosanna Richardson, Registered Dental Hygienist

Rosanna has been married to her high school sweetheart for thirteen years, and is a mom of two children. Her daughter Eliza is ten and her son Wells is six. Rosanna loves travelling and spending time with her family. She has been working as Dental Hygienist for 15 years, and always strives to provide the best and most positive experience to her patients. At the same time, she educates patients about the importance of oral health.

Teresa S. Bolling, Registered Dental Hygienist

Teresa has a constant love for learning and firmly believes that knowledge is power. She has been working in the dental industry for 29 years and is quite knowledgeable about dental issues. Her objective is to keep educating patients about oral hygiene. She loves spending time with Charlie (husband), Kenzie (daughter) and her two Labs Bear and Sam. Teresa enjoys traveling by RV across the nation and hopes to see all 50 states. With her 6 years of experience, she has developed a strong skill set with communication and collaboration with team members. She has a great deal of compassion towards patient care. Teresa is a critical thinker and pays attention to each dental condition.

Since 2002, Dawn has worked in the dental industry.She has a warm personality and loves getting to know each patient on a personal level. Dawn is always passionate about camping, gardening, singing Karaoke, and spending time with family and her husband. She has knowledge about insurance plans, treatment plans, finances, scheduling, etc. Dawn aims to offer help to every patient with all their concerns and tries to make every patient feel important and welcome.

Prior to working as a patient coordinator, Yesenia spent four years in the CS billing department and six years as an Administrative Assistant. Becoming a DAI and Future DAII is her goal. Yesenia enjoys dealing with patients and assisting them because she finds satisfaction in helping a patient in overcoming their dental phobia. She is skilled in customer service and bilingual languages.

Brenda Parrish, Dental Assistant

She has been working as Dental Assistant since 1986. Brenda has expertise in patient care, all chairside duties, and X-rays. She loves spending time with her grandson, who is 7 years old. Her dream is to move to a tropical island when she retires.

William Grigg, DMD

Dr. William (Will) Grigg was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and went on to receive a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of South Carolina. He continued his studies at North Carolina State University where he obtained an MS in Physiology and a Biotechnology Certificate before completing a DMD at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. He advanced his dental training as a general practice resident at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville before returning to North Carolina to settle down and raise a family. In addition to his practice in clinic, he also serves the local community through participation in the NC Missions of Mercy.

Whether your goal is to maintain, restore, or improve your smile, Dr. Grigg aims to provide you with a dental experience that is comfortable and cost effective by using cutting edge technologies and available options to ensure patient autonomy. Dr. Grigg strives to continue refining his practice to provide the highest quality of care by completing continuing education courses in dentistry. He aspires to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry which requires a commitment to continuing education training. His clinical interests include patient advocacy, restorative dentistry, endodontics, implant therapy and dental technologies, and he continues to research new developments and best practices to continuously improve his standard of care. Dr. Grigg is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.

Outside of the office, you can find him spending time outdoors with his wife, Leia, and their two young children hiking, biking, playing disc golf, and cheering on their favorite sports teams as a family. In the winter months, Dr. Grigg also enjoys snowboarding and when it is warm, he is often out paddleboarding at the local lakes or on the Carolina coast.

Cindy Foland, DAII

Cindy has been practicing as a Dental Assistant for over 20 years. She has four grown children and four grandchildren. Cindy enjoys spending time out at the lake and trips to the Coast with her family. She and her family believe in enjoying all life has to offer and spreading kindness. Cindy has expertise in all chairside skills but especially aesthetically pleasing temporaries. She always aims to bring comfort to patients. Her goal is to make people feel good about smiling and to make patients educated.

Apirl Waldron, Dental Hygienist

Apirl Waldron, is one of our Dental hygienists at Westover Dental Group. Apirl has been working with us for a year and a half but has an overall experience of 14 years and counting. Apirl worked as a phlebotomist for 7 years prior to returning to school to pursue a career in dental hygiene. She has positive and compassionate attitude and educate her patients and helps her patients understand what is happening with their oral health. She reviews with them a comprehensive treatment plan to help put their mind at ease. Apirl continually betters herself in the hygiene practice and hopes to be able to incorporate Myofascial therapy to help patients with TMJ/jaw pain issues. In her free time, Apirl enjoys camping with her family. She would love to travel the United States one day and see all the historical sites there is to see.
